The BodyWorks Staff

The BodyWorks staff works as a team to ensure that all of our patients receive the same quality of care when it comes to therapeutic techniques and interventions. Our Physical Therapists are Licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy who are committed to providing the most evidence-based care possible. The way we approach injuries and administer treatment are always individualized to the patient.

Jeff Wilson, PT, DPT

Jeff Wilson has been practicing physical therapy since 1995. He prides himself in staying current on science based effective treatments for all the patients at BodyWorks Physical Therapy. He received his Masters and transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles. His clinical philosophy is to treat patients as individuals, not as their diagnosis. We as a clinic strive to give the tools to get and keep yourself well by improving your body’s threshold for activity.

Todd Whitmore, PT, DPT

Todd attended California Lutheran University, receiving a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2013. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX where he graduated with High Honors in 2018. He has completed clinical affiliations in a range of physical therapy settings, including pediatrics, neurological, and orthopedic rehabilitation. His lifelong passion for sports, performance, and health led him to pursue physical therapy as his career. His clinical philosophy centers on providing his patients a thorough understanding of their condition and empowering them with the long term tools to optimize their function for life.

Brenda Blanchard, PTA

Brenda Blanchard graduated from Pepperdine University with a B.S. in Sports Medicine in 1996. She worked as an aide for 1 1/2 years, and went back to school to get her license in March of 2000. Her passion is to educate and help people feel and function better. She has been through an ankle and neck surgery which she feels has made her more empathetic and sympathetic in both the physical and emotional aspects of pain and dysfunction. She was born and raised in San Diego, CA and loves to play tennis, workout, watch sports, and socialize.

Samuel Foley, PT, DPT

Sam graduated from California Polytechnic State University in 2014 with a B.S. in Financial Management. He spent 4 years working as a finance analyst before discovering his love and passion for how the human body works and deciding to change careers to physical therapy. He spent 2 years taking science pre-requisite coursework while working as a PT Technician at Body Works before he was accepted to PT school. Sam then graduated from Regis University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and passed his PT board exams in 2023. It is Sam’s passion for exercise, anatomy, physiology and human connection that fuels his clinical practice. His clinical philosophies emphasize patient education, manual therapy, and empowering patient’s to take what is learned in PT and using it to live longer, happier and more fulfilling lives.
